Dog Years:
There is a popular misconception that you can calculate how old your dog is in people years by multiplying the number of years by seven. In fact, the calculation is a little more complex than that. Dogs mature faster earlier (although sometimes it doesn't seem that way!) and then age slower the older that they get. There is a popular chart, developed by a veterinarian, that shows the relative ages of dogs based on their weight.
